There are three publications that are essential on board any ship in order to meet compliance requirements.

· List IV - List of Coast Stations and Special Service Stations

· List V - List of Ship Stations and Maritime Mobile Service Identity Assignments

· Maritime Manual - Manual for Use by the Maritime Mobile and Maritime Mobile-Satellite Services (Maritime Manual)

Carriage requirements for publications on board ships are defined by regulations of IMO, Flag states and ship’s Safety Management System (SMS) manual. Basic requirements are specified in the IMO MSC-MEPC.2/Circ.2 “IMO requirements on carriage of publications on board ships”

The list of publications, to be carried onboard depends on the ship type, ship flag and shipping company SMS. Different vessels require different publications, depending on vessel type, flag, trading pattern, cargo and shipping company policy

The LEO Managed Service (LEO MS) is a ChartWorld service of delivery and maintenance of ships’ library of technical publications in accordance with the customer requirements. Once selected publications are included in the ship’s inventory, all new editions and new publications that replace existing ones, are delivered onboard the ships subscribed to the LEO Managed Service (LEO MS).

ACES is an official SOLAS ENC data service by ChartWorld, one that supports the various data formats. ACES’s convert the complete Admiralty Vector Chart Services (AVCS) dataset into (S)ENC, for fast, simple and error-free data supply. ACES also meets SOLAS chart-carriage requirements, as long as the charts are kept up-to-date and displayed using a type-approved Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS.)

There are over 15,000 official Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs); these help bridge crewsto navigate safely and efficiently, whilst meeting Flag and Port State requirements.

We provide all additional Admiralty publications which help your ship to sail.

Admiralty Total Tide (ATT), Admiralty Digital List of Lights (ADLL), and Digital Radio Signals (ADRS) are all available to ensure proficiency. These publications contain all the details of their paper equivalents, with the convenience of accurate and efficient weekly updates and simple searching of information.

ADMIRALTY TotalTide (ATT) provides crews with accurate tidal information, quickly and effectively. Height and tidal stream predictions for more than 7,000 ports and 3,000 tidal streams worldwide.

ADMIRALTY Digital List of Lights (ADLL) is an advanced source of navigational light and fog signal information. There is coverage for over 85,000 individual fixed light structures including lighthouses, lightships, lit floating marks and fog signals.

ADMIRALTY Digital Radio Signalsaid the ongoing safety, security and compliance of your vessel by helping to manage and maintain open communications, and to meet reporting regulations.

We offer the Admiralty e-Nautical Publications (AENPs), which are simply the electronic versions of official ADMIRALTY Nautical publications. There are 86 official publications available in this electronic format; they are easy to useand to update, and bring improved efficiency, accuracy and access to all required information.

These include:

• Accurate weekly Notices to Mariners, which are added within seconds, ensuring ongoing safety and compliance.

• Simple search to access important planning and information easily.
