Arby's 2 For $5 Mix 'N Match Deal (2024)

Just a heads up. The deal wasnt available when I stopped by an Arby’s in Aurora the other day. An employee told me it doesnt start until the end of January.

Todd — Unfortunately, you encountered a misinformed employee. We thoroughly vet all of our deals before publishing. Arby’s is currently running commercials promoting the 2 For $5 Mix ‘N Match deal. In addition, the deal is prominently displayed on its homepage stating it’s now available at participating locations. The deal may change from month-to-month, but the deal we posted is currently available. I would show the employee the Arby’s website for verification, assuming you have a smartphone. -BKC

I went in on Saturday to the south Colorado location and was informed that the deal would not start until AFTER Martin Luther King Day! I have NOT seen any commercials for the deal and it was nowhere to be seen on the website when I checked – a rare miss for you! And it was not just one misinformed employee – I asked to talk to the manager and the whole staff agreed that the deal was not “on” yet.
Will check website again, but it wasn’t ther earlier. IF it’s actually on, the company is doing a TERRIBLE job at notifying the restaurants!

Just now (Monday) checked the website and it IS there now. Will print out and show to personnel at restaurant. They ARE a “participating location,” as they said the deal WOULD be in effect LATER. But, they wasted my time and gas telling me it was not yet in effect. Irritating, as that store is usually so great and accommodating – again most likely bad communication from headquarters, if TWO places did not know of it.

Lyn – We know you’re one of our best eagle-eyed readers and comment often. Thank you. Please know we vet our deals thoroughly, often via multiple sources. (However, we’re not perfect.) In this case, prior to posting, Arby’s ran multiple commercials for the deal. The deal was prominently displayed on its homepage and we personally saw in-store promo signs. All stating the deal was “now” available, not starting January 22. As we understand it, the promo line-up and price may change from month-to-month. However, this deal was valid for January. For your reference, I often take screenshots, take pictures of promo signs and save all PR e-mails for this exact reason. When we get questioned or there is a potential issue, I have source material to reference. We pride ourselves on providing the most current and correct information, but, again, there is the occasional misinformation, misunderstanding or oversight. From our experience, the biggest obstacle has always been misinformed employees or managers. Almost every time we call to vet a deal or promo, the manager or employee is unaware of said offer or gives contradictory information. It’s our biggest challenge. As a result, we prefer to only accept information from a PR rep, corporate marketing department or official promo sign/website. We appreciate your feedback. – BKC
